[BC] (Recent) Severe Issues with Pixelization/Choppiness

I just came back from a week vacation (starting on Dec 8) and when I started watching some of my recorded shows, there were severe cases of pixelization, choppiness, or the screen freezing up for a couple of seconds. Switching back to live TV, we also noticed that this was occurring on live TV (on lots of different channels). Netflix (which is coming in over the network but streaming through the PS3) appeared to be having (streaming?) issues that was represented by the feed going from 1080p to a lower resolution (and then going back to full 1080p). However, my online gaming (FPS) did not seem to be affected (or at least my ping rates seemed pretty stable around 30ms). I have been running my Actiontec1000 in bridged mode for the last 3 months with no problems (though the Optik TV is still connected to the Actiontec), and I am located d/t Vancouver. I have already hard/power cycled my Optic box twice but with no success. Before I call Telus, anyone else experiencing issues like this, or have any suggestions on what to look for? Thanks, B.
