PureFibre/TV/150 -- Home wiring question (and others)

Moving to Calgary. Confirmed with Telus that our new house is PureFibre-capable. Need some help, please! Before we move-in, we're having the house wired with Cat5. I want to run two cables to every position in the house, one for my home network (HTPCs/Kodi/Surveillance/etc) and then one for Telus TV. Anything I should be asking the electrician to do specifically in order to be well-set for Telus 4K TV and 150/150? I've been doing some reading in the forum and it appears that as a new install I might have no choice but to go wireless for TV as the STBs don't support wired ethernet? Please, god, let that not be true. Already enough radio congestion in suburbia today and I can already hear the complaints from my wife about wireless stability issues -- both for the TV and for internet... Anyways, would appreciate any tips from the experts here. Also, a few other random questions: Who compresses TV signals more -- Telus or Shaw? I believe with PureFibre TV and 150/150 I can put the Telus modem/router in bridge mode and use my own router for my home network? Should I be requesting specific equipment from Telus when placing my order (only time I have leverage) to get the latest/greatest/best? Anything else I should be asking for? Two years is a long time...
