[BC] OpenVPN on Telus network

Hi All, I’m trying to configure an OpenVPN Access Server on my home network, so I’m able to access my NAS and other servers while traveling. I am trying to avoid moving providers if at all possible and would willing to try other VPN application if anyone knows of one that works on the Telus network. What I have done/tried so far is configured a PFsense firewall using the built in OpenVPN with no luck. To make troubleshooting easier I configured an OpenVPN access server behind the firewall, disabling the built-in one. I was able to connect while at home, but were getting time out error messages from a remote location (i.e. local coffee shop). I finely placed the VPN server in the DMZ hosting again with no luck. I do have a registered domain and have updated the DNS record “myvpn.mydomain.com” to point to the IP address that was assigned to my router. I have also gone through and configured the appropriate ports to forward to VPN server. At this point in time I have pretty much hit a brick wall and run out of ideas. Has anyone had any luck setting this or something similar up? If so, any tips you would be willing to share? Alternatively, has anyone had success with either Shaw or Novus. No point moving if I’m going to have the same headache. Thanks for your help
