So it's been over a year now that I have made the switch to Eastlink and I haven't had any major issues except for my pings. Eastlink has terrible routing out here and basically any games that I play online are, well unplayable due to high ping. So without going into great details, a year ago I had to switch services because of increasing bandwidth throttling with Telus. I had the 50mbps package and some nights I couldn't even stream Netflix , literally less than 1.0mbps at times.
I phoned Telus last week and I couldn't get a straight answer if those issues were fixed yet. They did make 100 mbps available not long ago so I'm hoping this means they got everything fixed.
With that being said I'm not ready to make the switch over until I have absolute confirmation that there is no more speed throttling. I am located in Cold lake. Cold lake south to be more precise.
Can someone help me out with that? It would be greatly appreciated.
