I live in a more rural neighbourhood in Pitt Meadows that has never had cable/high speed internet available for customers. In the past this was more of an inconvenience than anything else, however with the way the world is moving with technology it is becoming increasingly frustrating to not have an affordable, reasonable high speed internet option. We currently have a rogers high speed hub that has good quality service but is OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. I have been in contact with people at Telus trying to determine what it would take to bring highspeed internet down our road but no one seems to be able to give me an answer. Anyone here have a similar situation or can point me in a direction where to proceed next? I know that in our neighbourhood people would be willing to help pay for the cost of installing the infrastructure needed.
