So I am getting fiber installed in a week (which I cant wait to try), however I have one question. i was given the option yesterday of having all my services put on one fiber connection (I currently have two VDSL connections, one is dedicated to inet and the other is dedicated to TV) or keeping the TV on vdsl and switching only the inet to fiber. I choose to put all services on fiber. However, now I am wondering if I should have left TV on its own dedicated VDSL connection? One benefit to converging them is that the TV connection has no inet access (listed as high speed zero on the Telus side) so any of the fun little apps including the galaxy music app do not work for me. What I am really wondering now, will there be any noticeable drop in performance with TVs being used (I would not think so on fiber but I have no experience with it)? Guess that is two questions.
