My TV only 1.5 years old was working perfectly well till a week on Saturday were I turned on and the channels in 100 series came up with a double line in the center like a pane of glass.The other channels were blurred.This was all reset and fine till last night watching the Grammys and recording another show.My TV went blank at the stage of Album of the Year.There was snow on all channels .Phoned Technical Support and as I was talking on phone this message came on screen.Unable to display video service over HDMI.HDCP link integrity check failed(H1005).
Technical Support gave me the old story about trouble with HDMI and was going to mention Components again I was so upset I just said'I am going to hang up now".My TV was working very well for months then suddenly HDMI is the problem.I do not like Components because the audio sound is crap with them.
I read somewhere that it was a problem in the software 'Media Center Optik TV in Windows,Microsoft.
This has been going on for at least 5 years now surely it should have been fixed?
Later on I rebooted my TV and everything was back to normal except I had to revert to internet to see who won 'Album of Year and I presume my recording will have not a final ending.
All TV pricing has gone up so much in the last year that even with my employee(Retired 30 years service) I cannot afford many.If these prices could be justified with good TV reception it would be a little easier to take.
The employees I contact with problems are all very nice. .First it was billing problems ,now the TV. I just get fed up having to phone in..............OK I have this off my chest here and Telus Neighbourhood. :(
