Telus Buisness or TekSavvy?

I'm just coming off a year-long student deal for Telus Internet 25 and am evaluating my Internet subscription options. I work in IT and like to experiment with servers so I am looking for an Internet connection with a static IP and no blocked ports. I am a huge fan of DSL so Shaw cable is out. I've narrowed my options down to two possibilities: Telus Business 25 or TekSavvy Highspeed 25. Both give me the option of a static IP and both give me the option of unlimited monthly usage (Important because I'm a heavy Internet user). Another requirement is that I have a modem that can be bridged so I don't have two levels of PAT (NAT) on my network. I currently have a bridged Actiontech that is serving me well, would Telus force me to use a different gateway if I switched to a business connection? Does Telus block any ports on their business connections? Specifically 25 (in and out) 80, 443, 993, 587, 22? Finally, how does the static IP work? I'm assuming it's really just static DHCP rather then a true static IP address I assign to my networking equipment? Hopefully some of you folks can chime in and help me making a decision in which direction to go.
