These may be for those Telus guys that lurk around here, so here goes.
I have a dedicated business line that has no phone connections on it at all, only my DSL 25/5 service. I had Telus in today to fix up a slow upload issue (resolved Thank You) but one of the things the tech did was install a pots splitter in my line before it went into my modem? I queried the tech on this and he said it is Telus policy even on a dedicated line.
I guess my question is do I really need that in there or can I remove it? It is not stashed away in the Telus box on the side of the building but right in my network cabinet.
Any ideas?
