Just a few quick Q's.
Today, while at work, I had a Telus (Subcontractor?) tell my wife that I would need to remove a tree to receive a signal for Telus SatTV.
According to my wife he walked into the back yard and after 5 - 10 minutes told her that we would need to remove a tree for the sight line.
At no time did he get on the roof.
1) Is it possible to see a clear present view from the ground?
2) Is there only one specific place along the roof line to place a dish?
3) Does anyone know the Arch and Degree of the satellite from approx: 49.2 , -122.6 so as to make the calculations?
4) If its a nasty day, pouring rain, could that be a possible reason to remove a tree?
Thanks in advance for any info to my Q's and anything else I may have missed.
Dave
P.S. I have arranged for a Tech to come out Mar 12 to help explain.
If there are there any questions I may have for him/her it would be appreciated.
