I'm hoping to find someone who uses a UDM Pro SE with Telus Fiber over 1 Gbps. I recently upgraded to Telus 1.5Gbit, and as I suspected, there were issues with some network elements that couldn't handle anything over ~940Mbs. As OptikTV is one of my services, I have used a Port1 bridge (T3200 & now NH20A). My Firewall/Gateway is a Netgate 6100, and it's first 4 combo ports are limited to 1Gbps.
It has 2 usable 10Gbps SFP ports (defaulting as WAN), but they don't support copper RJ45 transceivers. That leaves 4 2.5GbE RJ45 Lan ports that can be individually converted to Wan. This may prove to be a usable solution, but I'm really curious if anyone has experience running a bridged Telus multi-gig port, into a UDM Pro SE? It has the 2.5GbE RJ45 Wan which should sync up with a Port1 bridge on the NH20A, as long as I'm correct in the belief it's the same speed, and should also nicely feed Lan side switches over a 10Gbit SFP DAC. Does anyone know if this combination should work? TIA
