Telus appears to be sunsetting public Wi-Fi

So when Shaw was pushing their Shaw Open wifi Telus responded with similar open WiFi hardware given for free to business customers who agreed to host it. Got an email on one of those business accounts they are no longer going to support it going forward. So it will keep running as long as nothing breaks but Telus will do nothing to fix or repair it. I know for the last few years they no longer offered it, instead businesses could add their own separate Guest network using the Cisco Meraki wifi add on service. July 7, 2023 Dear TELUS Customer, As a customer who is currently using our complimentary public Wi-Fi access points on your premises, we are contacting you regarding a change to our technical support for these services moving forward. As of today, July 7, 2023, we will be unable to process any orders or repair requests for Public Wi-Fi. You may continue to use this service free of charge; however should a service issue arise we are no longer able to support any repairs, updates or changes that may be required to get the service working again. If you are looking for a new solution, we suggest moving to TELUS Business Wi-Fi. Call us at 1-877-352-0898 to discuss your options. Thank you for your business. The TELUS Business team
