Howdy all,
Telus sent us a text message to offer us a new WiFi 6 Hub. I think it's the egg shaped white one. (Is that the Arcadyan modem?) How are these modems? Do they have any line stability improvements, or any other upgrades other than the WiFi?
Home Network setup info:
We bridge our T3200M and have an ASUS router behind it running Merlin firmware with FlexQOS. TP-Link access points spread throughout the home, wired backhaul. It works very well, so the only areas that could improve are low level line improvements. I gather we can still bridge the new hubs, but if something like WiFi can't be turned off, that'd cause interference for the APs and reduce the quality of the overall network.
Is there a reason to accept the free equipment upgrade? The T3200M is working just fine and gets pretty good line stats. The SpeedTest with QOS enabled is very acceptable for a 50/10 package. Thoughts from an expert appreciated. :D
