This farce had nothing to do with the mythological 10% of TELUS users spoiling it for everyone else.
It also had nothing to do with pissing off TELUS internet subscribers by cutting their usage in half while proudly declaring that TELUS doesn't enforce the usage cap anyway.
NO CEO on the planet was born that stupid.
This had nothing to do with any of that happy horseshit.
This is all about TELUS and Shaw colluding on having the same monthly price for the same speed and the same monthly usage.
That's why starting next month my TELUS internet bill will be going up for the second time in eight months.
Anti-competitive conduct
Price fixing
It's as simple and as pathetic as that.
They both have a monopoly, they both are in the TV business, and they have now started to engage in anti-competitive practices that will prevent competition.
Shaw and TELUS are no longer competitors.
They are now a happy couple amusing themselves at our expense.
Shaw and TELUS are too busy rolling around in the hay to have any desire left to compete with each other.
