New fibre customer in Calgary. I had it for 2 days last week, then after the fibre modem has been unplugged and re-plugged, I lost Internet. They told me a technician will visit in 3 days, because it was Sat. On Tuesday the first one came, spent 4 hours, changed all components, and gave up, saying that there's an outage in the area, and can't do anything for now. Today another guy came, and after going in and out of the house for almost 2 hours, said that the outage in my area is still active and I should just wait. Is this how things will be with Telus Fibre? Do outages really last more than 2 days and how often?
