I just renewed my 6.0/.5 internet /phone connection for in the Mid $40's for the next couple of months.
It's not the best deal given the connection, but I'd pay for a faster connection if I could get faster content from the web. The only time my bandwidth ever gets full maxed out is when I use my podcast fetcher, or when I use 3rd party apps to download youtube videos to watch on my devices seprate from viewing them in the browser (which is just a lot simpler and faster with less buffering and pausing).
No matter that, but whenever I rate reset, I always ask myself should I switch? I could port out the home phone line to freephoneline.ca and get the base internet at $37/mo for a 6.0 connection, or even just switch to teksavvy.
The question is though which provider provides 'better' customer protection from all the multimedia companies.
Teksavvy got pushed a bit, and I think that they did because they're a smaller telco.
Is telus better at protecting customer privacy?
