I was speaking to a Shaw retention rep this week about whether their new BlueSky TV offering had similar capabilities to Telus Optik TV, and he came out with the statement that if you watch and record multiple channels at once on Telus Optik TV it will reduce your internet bandwidth. I told him that isn't true, that Optik TV has a separate 25 Mbps bandwidth allocation, but he insisted that's what Shaw agents have been told to tell callers.
