I want to remove the hydro and phone from a cabin. Because leaning trees and CAT1 to house.
I found the Telus Requirements: http://about.telus.com/servlet/JiveServlet/previewBody/2450-102-1-2444/BICS_TELUS_Residential_Service_Conduit_Requirements.pdf
1.25" conduit? I've only see that with masts. The hardware store has 3/4" weather heads. Is this only for new construction?
Most Telus installs I see on older houses skip the conduit and run the cable down the wall.
I'd like to have it attached to gable peak, but I don't know what the height requirement over a driveway is.
The Cable Guy attached to the hydro mast then looped around the roof overhang. Doesn't seem safe on with a metal roof.
He didn't even ground to the meter box or service panel. It's two feet below the hydro line, about 13' above the driveway.
